These Mt. Hood wildflowers are just next to the spectacular Zig Zag canyon on the southwest side of the mountain.  My friend Ron and I had hiked about two miles west of Timberline Lodge on the Timberline Trail to find a good spot for some sunset images.  We were finally rewarded with the Mt. Hood wildflowers scene.  We stayed here until the sun had set making numerous images with various lenses.  This turned out to be one of the best locations I have found within easy walking distance for such beautiful wildflowers on Mt. Hood.  This really is the best way to let good, peaceful energy flow into your being.  And especially for those of us recovering from many, many months of chemo therapy!
